Applicants are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following vacancies tenable in the academic departments of the College of Medicine.

1. Professor/Associate Professor in Pharmacy

The recently established Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) program requires staff at Professor/Associate Professor level. Candidates should posses a Higher degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or related discipline (PhD) and be able to demonstrate expertise in one of the following subject areas: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy or Pharmacy Practice. In addition to teaching experience at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, candidates must demonstrate evidence of substantial research achievement and administrative expertise. Recognition in the stated discipline at International level is required.

The commensurate salary is in the range of $2500-$3500 per month (Equivalent Malawi Kwacha

2. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Pharmacy

Candidates will be expected to undertake independent teaching and research in any pharmacy related disciplines like Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy or Pharmacy Practice. Candidates should also posses a Higher degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or related discipline .In addition to teaching experience at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, candidates must demonstrate evidence of substantial research achievement and administrative expertise. Experience in teaching and research at a University level is desirable.

The commensurate salary is in the range of $2000-$3000 per month ( Equivalent Malawi Kwacha
3 Post of Lecturer in Pharmacy

Candidates should posses a MSc/PhD degree in Pharmacy or related discipline and be available to teach in the following subject areas Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy practice. Teaching experience is desirable.

The commensurate salary is in the range of $1500-$2500 p
