Textiles and Design Teacher, Mzokoto, Rumphi

Phwezi Women's Training Centre is seeking a well qualified teacher of Textiles and Design to join their strong Education Team.

We are looking for a well qualified, experienced Textiles and Design Teacher who has:

-Excellent subject knowledge of Fashion and Textiles, as well as Art & Design,
-A strong classroom presence,
-The ability to demand attention,
-Make lessons interesting,
-A calm, unfazed manner,
-Excellent Interpersonal Skills,
-The want and ability to make a difference to people's lives,
-Be Creative and innovative
-Designing Ability.

The Textiles and Design Teacher is expected to deliver the curriculum in a classroom setting. As well as developing the student's curriculum knowledge, there is also a particular emphasis on building confidence within the classroom.

Candidates should possess at least a Diploma in the relevant field.
